B. LaRue Caro, 96, of Everett, PA; passed away on Friday, May 08, 2026 at Colonial Courtyard. She was born on November 17, 1929; a daughter of the late Clarence and Della (Richir) Ross. On August 13, 1949 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford; she was united in marriage to Michael E. Caro. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2018.
She is survived by children James M. Caro married to Sue, Everett, PA, Brenda Lee Barkman, Everett, PA, and Pat J. Caro, Marysville, PA; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by siblings Madalene Pope, Viola Dodson, James Ross, Robert Ross, Hazel Selva, John Ross, Harold Ross, and Gladys Blankley, son-in-law Barry Barkman.
LaRue was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1947. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She worked at the Everett Foodliner and the Everett Pharmacy. She was a great cook, wonderful wife and mother; enjoyed working around her home in her flower gardens and loved watching birds.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 161 East First Avenue, Everett, PA 15537 with Father Derek Fairman officiating.
Burial will be held privately at the Everett Cemetery.
