Kevin "Grubby" Grubb Obituary

Kevin E. Grubb “Grubby”, 61, of Bedford, PA; passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at home.  He was born on February 25, 1964 in Everett, PA; a son of Gail P. (Wyles) Grubb of Bedford and the late Ernest M. Grubb.

Along with his mom, he is survived by sister Valerie Cessna married to Ben, Clearville, PA; niece Becki married to Kevin Kifer, nephew Glen Cessna married to Laura and great nephews Tristan, Colt, Henry and Bram.

He was preceded in death by a niece Jesse Sellers.

Kevin graduated from Bedford High in 1983. He started out driving milk truck and then worked at Kennametal for the last 27 years.  He said that he wasn't going to retire any time soon because he enjoyed the people he worked with.  He said if he did retire, he was going to go back to driving milk truck part time because that is what he really loved to do.

His love for his family was beyond measure.  If you ever had the pleasure of meeting him, you would never forget his presence. He always had a smile, was humble & kind, but had a quick wit which kept you on your toes.  His sister was his rock, he loved her so much, and her husband Ben was one of his best friends.

Kevin enjoyed going to sprint car races, drag races & Pen's hockey games. His favorite time was when he would take his vacation days and go spend time in Beans Cove at Ben & Valerie’s.  If they happened to be away, he would take care of their horses and dog, as he referred to them as "my boys" and then spend time with his “Beans Cove” friends & family.  That being said, we all know his real love was helping milk cows at the Cessna dairy farm.  Other things in the Cove he enjoyed doing was being "pit master" at the annual Father’s Day chicken BBQ & riding buggies with the gang.

He was a son that every mother prays for & blessed to receive.  We know where he is and we will join him one day. Kevin enjoyed his life to the fullest and left way too soon.  Our hearts are broken, but we have the peace of God knowing he was saved by his Lord & Savior.   His life was a blessing & treasure to all that knew him will never forget.
