Joy L. (Shives) Lee

Joy L. Lee, 73, of Everett, PA; passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at home.  She was born on July 9, 1950 in Roaring Spring, PA; a daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Means) Shives.  On October 16, 1973 in Winchester, VA; she was united in marriage to Ray E. Lee. 

Along with her husband of fifty-one years, she is survived by three children Brian Lee, Everett, Christy married to Chuck Kustaborder, Everett and Donna married to Joel Zimmerman, Bedford; seven grandchildren Kayla, Kyle, Cory, Matthew, Ashley, David and Ty; seven great grandchildren Kyler, Emmitt, Jade, Kristen, Ely, Jaron and Jacob.

Joy formerly attended the Everett Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday School.  She was active in the Everett Little League Organization and enjoyed Nascar, crocheting, competition shooting and was an avid baseball fan.

Mrs. Lee was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1968.  She was a rural mail carrier for many years until her retirement.

At Joy’s request there will be no services.
