Joseph Stephen Beck

Joseph Stephen Beck, 74, of Clearville, PA; passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.  He was born on January 1, 1950 in Cumberland, MD; a son of the late Elden E. and Lena (Miller) Beck.

Joe was a retired self-employed logger.  He spent his time golfing and being with friends at the Bloody Run Social Club and Chaneysville Volunteer Fire Hall.  He was well known and loved in the community, his family and many friends looked after him and will miss him greatly.

He is survived by his only sister Gloria Naill, who he called “Jeannie”, a nephew Jesse Naill, aunts Betty Davis, Geri Beck, Shirley Whorten and Karen Beck and one uncle Delmar Beck.

At his request, he will be cremated and a service will be planned for a later date.

His family wishes to thank the Conemaugh Trauma Team, Raystown Medics, Akers Funeral Home, Trooper 5 from Cumberland MD and the many people in the community that helped during this difficult time.
