Joseph Bailey Obituary

Joseph Bailey, 78, of Broad Street, Hopewell, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 in Johnstown, PA. He was born on March 5, 1942 in Beaverdale, PA; a son of the late James and Margaret (Handle) Bailey.

He is survived by children Joseph C. Bailey, Johnstown, PA; Kenneth E. Bailey, Davidsville, PA; Lori A. Long, Duncansville, PA; and Susan R. Dickert, Media, PA; siblings James Bailey, Edna Charney and William Bailey and several grandchildren.

Joseph worked as a machine operator for the Pennsylvania Railroad until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Church of Yellow Creek where he was a deacon and was very active. He was also a member of the Brotherhood Maintenance Away Union.

At Joseph’s request, there will be no services.
