Joe A. Bowser, 72, of Hopewell, PA; was called home to be with the Lord on April 02, 2026, with family at his side.

He was born June 11, 1953 in Everett; the son of the late Carl R. and Mildred (McGraw) Bowser.  On August 13, 1977 he was united in marriage to Robin (Hall) Bowser who survives along with their children, Joseph “Scott” Bowser and wife Heather, Jason Carl (Jay) Bowser and wife Kimberly and Wendy Kay (Bowser) Browning and husband Aaron; eight grandchildren Blake (Maria) Bowser, Abby, Lydia, Owen, Ellis, Colten and Braden Bowser and Lavada Browning; one great grandson Atticus Bowser; two step great grandchildren Douglas and Dalhia; sister Linda (Bowser) Kuhstoss and husband Blynn of White Plains, MD; mother-in-law Martha Hall of Hopewell, PA

Mr. Bowser was a 1971 graduate of NBC High School successfully completing study in agriculture.  After high school Joe worked alongside of his father operating the family dairy farm.  After his father’s passing, Joe continued to operate the farm until his retirement.  He kept active after retirement enjoying helping his sons family to build and remodel their home, work on engines or give fatherly advice to his children on livestock, gardening or field crops.  Best friends Larry Sparks, Sam Cottle and Roger Sparks who were like brothers to Joe and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Joe was well known as always being ready to lend a hand to a neighbor or friend in need.  He never found a person he couldn’t talk to as he had the “gift of gab” and has a list of friends too numerous to count.  He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
