Joann N. (Pepple) Mellott

Joann N. (Pepple) Mellott, 85, formerly of West Street, Everett, PA; passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Pennknoll Village.  She was born on September 6, 1935 in Everett, PA; a daughter of the late S. Dale and Lena P. (Smith) Pepple.  On February 13, 1954 in Cumberland, MD; she married Richard F. Mellott.  He preceded her in death on May 30, 2017.
 
She is survived by the following children Cindy L. married to Harry E. Cook, Richard E. Mellott and Troy A. Mellott all of Everett; grandchildren Shane Cook, Sierra Gonzalez, Christopher Mellott, Lois Mellott, Lena Mellott, Kirstin Mellott, Tylar Mellott and Trenten Mellott; twelve great grandchildren; siblings William Pepple married to Joyce (Means), Everett, Shelvy married to Victor Woy, Dale "Dick" Pepple married to Nancy, Linda married to Richard Brallier, sisters-in-law Delores Pepple, Janice Pepple and Betty Pepple.
 
She was preceded in death by siblings Robert Dean Pepple, Darrell Pepple, Donald Pepple and L. Marcine Norris.
 
Joann was affiliated with the Everett Church of the Brethren.
 
She enjoyed caring for her home, gardening, flower gardening, going out to eat and going on vacation.  She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.
 
Family and Friends may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 5-7 P.M. and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
 
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.  in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home.
 
Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
