Jeffrey "Tank" Ritchey Obituary

Jeffrey B. “Tank” Ritchey, 58, of Saxton, PA; passed away on February 13, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA; he was born on April 22, 1962 in Roaring Spring, PA; a son of the late Samuel L. Ritchey and Cleo M. (Brown) Ritchey. 

He is survived by two sons Shawn Ritchey and Jonathan Ritchey; grandchildren Jayven, Kendyn, Daylen, Coltyn, Arianna, Zaylen, Oaklen and Kanen; sister-in-law Tina Ritchey-Oberman and nephew Adam T. Ritchey.

He was preceded in death by a brother Michael L. Ritchey and a nephew Brandon M. Ritchey.

Jeff was a graduate of Tussey Mountain High School Class of 1981.

He was an active member of the Saxton Sportsman’s Association, having held numerous offices and worked there for numerous years.  Jeff coached little leagues teams and Tussey Mountain Football.  He enjoyed attending and coaching his grandchildren’s sporting events and spending time with them.  He loved racing and was an avid Steelers Fan.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of God Tabernacle with Pastor Chris Clinger officiating.

Friends will be received on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

We ask that those in attendance please follow CDC guidelines with wearing a mask and social distancing.
