Jeanie Dianne Wilkins

Jeanie Dianne Wilkins, 71, of Wilkins Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 peacefully at home.  She was born on January 25, 1950 in Everett, PA; a daughter of the late Dorothy M. (Means) Smith.  On August 8, 1970 she married John Carl Cogan, Sr., he preceded her in death.  She married Rodney J. Wilkins on April 10, 1982. 

Along with her husband Rodney she is survived by children Shirley Deremer (Michael), John Cogan Jr. (Melissa), Patty Plummer (Mark), Betty Cogan Lucas (Buster) and James Wilkins; nine grandchildren William L. Dixon, Cobey Deremer, Sydney Snyder, Dalton Cogan, Kecia Cogan, Randi Plummer, Brandi Plummer, Bryer Hinish, McCormick Hinish and six step grandchildren, two great grandchildren Madilyn Grace and Aiden Lee; four step great grandchildren and many more loved ones.

She was loved by a very special couple Uncle William Whiteside and the late Aunt Betty Whiteside.

Jeanie was a waitress at many various restaurants around the area.

She also was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She never met a stranger.  She enjoyed working puzzles, going to sales and playing cards with her daughters and granddaughters.

Family and Friends may call at the Breezewood Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 1092 Lighthouse Rd, Breezewood, PA 15533 on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 5-7 P.M.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Jonathan Wyns officiating.

We ask that those in attendance follow CDC Guidelines with wearing a mask and social distancing.
