Jean E (Bollman) Rainey

Jean Elizabeth Rainey, 71, of Everett, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at UPMC Somerset.   She was born December 2, 1948 Bedford, PA; a daughter of the late George H. and Constance (Smith) Bollman. Her husband Frank D. Rainey preceded her in death 1990.

She is survived by her four children; Timothy Rainey, Everett , Terry Rainey, Uniontown, Melissa Rainey and Valerie Mayle , both of Morgantown, W.V. She is survived by 10 grandchildren,  a sister Susan Bollman and brothers Charles and John Bollman.

She was preceded in death by grandson, Aaron Snyder, a brother Robert Bollman and sister Shirley Bollman,

Mrs. Rainey was a member of Faith Heart Family Fellowship, Everett.

She was a graduate of Tussey Mountain High School. Later she served with the Peace Corps where she became a CNN Nurse.

She was a homemaker and loved watching old movies, talk shows, soap operas and spending time with her grandchildren.

Friends and Family may call from 1:00P.M. until the 2:00P.M. Saturday, November 7, 2020 service at the Akers Funeral Home, Everett, PA, with Rev. Cynthia Milburn officiating.

We ask those in attendance to follow CDC guidelines by wearing a mask and following social distancing.
