Jay Lyle Pepple

Jay Lyle Pepple, 73, of Breezewood, PA; beloved husband, father and grandfather left this world to be his heavenly father for eternity joining his mother and father who preceded him in death.

He was born on May 7, 1951 in Everett, PA; a son of the late Clarence Jay Pepple and Dorothy Mae (Smith) Mellott-Pepple.  On October 25, 1970 in Cumberland, MD; he was united in marriage to Winona “Winnie” Pepple.

Along with his wife of fifty-three years, he is survived by children Kristie Colledge married to Brad and John Jay Pepple married to Chrissy.  Jay dearly loved his wonderful grandchildren Joel, Jared and Jade Colledge, Paige Pepple and Ben, Brice and Blake Tyner.  He is also survived by siblings Kathleen Norris, Nyle Mellott married to Joann and Patty Walters; and special friends Jim and Cathy Clark.

He was preceded in death by siblings Thomas Miller and Vesta Holtzman.

Jay was of the Methodist Faith.  He was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1969.

He owned and operated the 76 Gas Station in Breezewood for many years and later worked at Rayloc in Hancock for a number of years until retirement.

At Jay’s request there will be no services.
