James V. Warnick Sr., 75, of Enola, PA; passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at UPMC-West Shore. He was born on November 17, 1949 in Cumberland, MD; a son of the late Lester V. and Mary Jane (Feller) Warnick. On September 21, 1968 in Breezewood, PA; he was united in marriage to Mary Ann (Lear) Warnick.
Along with his wife, he is survived by children James V. Warnick Jr. married to Kristen of Colorado and Christina Cesarz married to Jerrad of York, PA; siblings Richard Warnick Sr. married to Jill of Oakland, MD; two nephews: Richard Warnick Jr. married to Amy of Oakland, MD; Chad Warnick married to Andrea of Morgantown, WV.
He was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Ann Warnick
James graduated from Bedford High School Class of 1967. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He spent his career working as a truck driver for various trucking companies including Shaffer Trucking, ABF Freight, Harley Davidson and eventually retiring from UPS. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and riding motorcycles He was a member of the Zembo Shrine-Harrisburg, Zembo Clown Unit, Perry Lodge #458, Scottish Rite of Harrisburg, Tall Cedars, Mechanicsburg VFW Post #7530 and Harley Davidson Employee Riders Association-York.
Friends and Family will be received on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the Rays Cove Christian Church, 337 Christian Church Road, Breezewood, PA from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service at 2:00 P.M.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Rays Cove Christian Church with Pastor Mace Wilder officiating.
Burial will be held in Rays Cove Cemetery, Breezewood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
