Jacob “Jake” C. Bollinger, 81, of Shuman Road, Everett, PA; passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at home. He was born on March 14, 1944 in Dudley, PA; a son of the late Jacob and Mildred LaRue (Trutt) Bollinger. On October 22, 1966 in Saxton, PA; he was united in marriage to Shirley L. (Swope) Bollinger.
Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons Lee Bollinger and James Bollinger; grandchildren Marcus, Austin, Zack, Jacob, Mara, Carter and Caylin, two great grandchildren Rylee and Tatum; siblings Arlene Buseck, Helen Rightenour, Vivian Collare, Clark Bollinger and Roger Bollinger.
He was preceded in death by siblings Dolly Mosbey, Loretta Garlock, Robert and Ellis Bollinger and a granddaughter Faith Bollinger.
Jake worked at Down River Golf Course as a groundskeeper for thirty years until his retirement.
After retirement he enjoyed mowing lawns for people. He loved being outdoors keeping busy and could be found in his garage tinkering, woodworking and always repairing something. He always enjoyed a mechanical challenge and was willing to help anyone with a project. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
At his request there will be no services with burial at Broad Top I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City.
