Jackie L. "Jack" Hafer, Sr.

Jackie L. “Jack” Hafer, Sr., 68, of Everett, PA; passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at home.  He was born on August 7, 1955 in Bedford, PA; a son of the late Neal and Louise (Kelly) Elbin.  On August 7, 1991; he was united in marriage to Mary L. (Lear) Hafer. 

Along with his wife, he is survived by children Brian Hafer married to Resa, Breezewood; Christopher Hafer and significant other Sally Kline, Hopewell, PA and Jack Hafer, Jr. married to Starla, Clearville; grandchildren Mavrick, Memfis, Skarlit and Silvee Hafer, Shane Pittman, Nick, Andrea and Megan Hafer, Donovan Noel, Alias and Nick Hafer; two great grandchildren Davion Pittman and Oliver Potts; siblings Norma Grimes, Donna Liston, May Marie Hafer, Louann Feight, Daniel Hafer, Donnie Hafer and Kenny Hafer.

He was preceded in death by siblings Linda Hafer and Neal Hafer.

Jack was a graduate of Everett Area High School.

He worked as a mechanic throughout his career.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed fixing and repairing things.

At Jack’s request there will be no services.
