J. Gail (Duffy) England

J. Gail England, 72, of Maple Drive, Everett, PA; passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Conemaugh Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, PA.  She was born on August 2, 1950 in Roaring Spring, PA; a daughter of the late R.F. and June E. (MacCleery) Duffy.  She was united together to W. Alan England in 1989. 

Along with her husband Alan, she is survived by children Tracie Bowser married to Tim, Osterburg; Chris Colledge and partner Jeremy Arnold, Bedford and Jeff Shauf, Wood; Jason England, Pittsburgh, PA and Jeremy England, Orlando, FL; grandchildren Kenzie J. Bowser and fiancé Hunter Wilt, Keirsten N. LaSalle, Madisyn T. Eckenrode married to Tanner, Kaden J. Bowser; one great granddaughter Brynleigh Eckenrode; brothers Jim Duffy, Bedford and Jack Duffy, New Paris and two special friends Donna Whitworth and Diane Vreeland.

She was preceded in death by siblings Joyce Corle, John Duffy, Barry Duffy and Josephine Mellott.

Gail owned and operated Gail’s Cleaning for many years.  She was a graduate of Bedford High School, Class of 1968.

Over the years she was a member of the Everett Women’s Club, Fort Bedford CB Club and was a volunteer for the Everett Food Pantry.  She was active with the class reunion committee and enjoyed reading, playing BINGO, yard saleing and loved dachshunds.

At Gail’s request there will be no services.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Gail to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Bedford County Humane Society.
