Hoyt Bowser Obituary

Hoyt Elijah Bowser, 17, of Clearville, PA, received his healing as he entered into Heaven on Thursday, August, 22, 2024. His parents, Cameron (CJ) and Joelle Bowser welcomed him into the world on Friday, August 17, 2007.

He was preceded in death by a special great-great-great uncle Elmer Mallow, and the best dog, Eve.

Along with his parents, he is survived by great-grandparents, Clara Colyer, and Allan & Sheila Clark; grandparents, Bradley & Kimberly Bowser, and Ed & Joyce Bowen; aunts and uncles, Brett & Jessica Bowser, Cody & Sienna Eller, and Harvey & Michaela Gunter; cousins, Briar, Elise Clara, Bridger, Jase, Mason, Ava, Lane, Gabriel, Holdyn, Fallon, and Krewe; along with many extended family and friends (including Lulu), who loved him very much.

Hoyt was entering his senior year. His journey had allowed him to meet many wonderful teachers, therapists, nurses, van drivers, and staff. His parents want to thank all of his special friends and fellow students who showered him with so much love and understanding, no matter which school he attended. His parents especially thank those who helped to give Hoyt such a great foundation; Miss Kecia, Miss Trish, Miss Robin, and Mr. Herb, along with many others.

Hoyt had the blessing, earlier in his life, of church families from St. Paul’s Church in Yellow Creek, and Healing Waters Church in Woodbury. His faith was formed by those that showed him and his parents the love of Jesus along the way.

At the time of his passing, he was helping to lead Clearville Community Church, which his parents founded. His parents are so thankful for all the wonderful people in Hoyt’s church families that helped him on his journey with Jesus. Hoyt absolutely loved his church family and looked forward to Sundays. His love for worship was an example to many.

Hoyt was blessed with a very special person, his Bearcat (Ava). No other person could make his eyes twinkle like his Bearcat. Their bond was a beautiful gift from heaven and will always be cherished by his parents.

Hoyt’s mom and dad will forever be made better because of his life. His example of the love of Christ has done much to shape his parents’ faith, and his family’s ministry. There is a blessed assurance that he is completely healed, talking, running and seizure-free. They cannot wait to join him in that field of yellow flowers and breathe in the joy of Heaven.

Until we meet again, Hoyt.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Clearville Community Church, 147 Cherry Lane, Clearville from 2pm-8pm.
