Helen (Stoltz) Terry (Almost 70), of Everett, the middle daughter of Joseph Sr. and Helen (Woods) Stoltz. She was born at Miners’ Hospital, Spangler PA; and grew up near St. Augustine, PA. She is survived by siblings Barbara McConnell (Richard), James (Diane), Daniel (Mary Kay), Dennis (Terri) and Veronica DiBenedetto and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers Joseph Jr., and Edgar.
Helen was sidelined by a massive stroke. She had worked as a seamstress, bank teller, electronic assembler and in a variety of food service positions. Her outstanding abilities in crafting, counted cross stitch, knitting and beading led to her generosity focused on cancer research and personal involvement with folks in need.
At her request, there will be no viewing nor formal service but she prayed for others and expressed a need for others to pray for her.
Special gratitude to staffing at Community Life, Meadowview and Pennknoll Village with deep appreciation to Bedford ambulance personnel for multiple “lifts” and to the many friends who helped her in troubled times.
Arrangements by Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.
