She had worked at Cove Valley on the turnpike, Howard Johnson until it closed and later spending her career at Family House Restaurant until she retired. She enjoyed gospel and country music, going on Bollman bus trips, summer camp meetings, family reunions, watching soap operas and her special shopping trips with her niece and sisters. Gussie was an avid reader.
Gussie was known and loved by so many for her kind nature, her boisterous laugh, witty comebacks and telling anyone who would listen about her family and her love for them. She will forever be remembered by her neighbors and friends for being outdoors working with her flowers, tending to her bird feeders and riding her lawn mower. She always had a friendly wave for everyone. Gussie will be missed but never forgotten by all.
