Fred Treece Obituary

Fred K. Treece went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2024, at home. He was born on December 31, 1933 as son to the late Arthur Dewey and Martha (Russell) Treece.

Fred was twice married first to Mary Lou Baker on June 22, 1956.  They had a son Mark F. Treece, December 4, 1960.  Mary Lou passed away September 20, 2004. He then married Shirley Morningstar on November 03, 2007 who survives along with son Mark; sisters Lettie husband Dick Barto of West Grove, PA, Jane Brasseau, of Maryland, brother-in-law Ronald Baker and wife Connie; step-children Cheryl and husband Jeff Russell, Raymond and wife Lori Morningstar, son-in-law John Brown; nine step grandchildren, twelve step great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by siblings John Franklin Treece, June Brindle, Zelda Hetrick, Ruby Johns, Russell Treece, Ronald Treece and step daughter Kim Brown. 

He graduated from Saxton Liberty High School Class of 1952.

He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.  He was also a member of the Mount Moriah Lodge F.&A.M. No. 300 and the Jaffa Shrine where was active in the Oriental Band and as a Road Runner.  He was a dairy farmer and retired from Land O’Lakes as milk inspector.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 2, 2024 at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Russellville from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Paul’s Russellville Reformed Church with Pastor Dale Parker officiating.

Burial will be held at Russellville Reformed Cemetery.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Fred to the St. Paul’s UCC Russellville, the Marklesburg Volunteer Fire Company or a charity of your choice.
