Frances “Frankie” M. Weicht, 83, of Tatesville Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born on October 21, 1941 in Cabins, WV; a daughter of the late Arno B. and Delphia Odessa (Watts) Goldizen. On June 27, 1997 in Cumberland, MD; she was united in marriage to Victor L. Weicht.
Along with her husband, she is survived by three children Jackie Byer, Everett, PA; Robin Shoemaker married to Bob, Artemas, PA and Steven Dunkle, Artemas, PA; four grandchildren Briann, Travis, Alexis and Drew; three great grandchildren, Adrianna, Blake and Monroe; brothers Ted Goldizen married to Dot, Beford, PA and Rocky Goldizen, brother-in-law Henry Clark and a special niece De Ann.
She was preceded in death by siblings Wilda Clark, Georgia Kagarise, and Beverly Hill and sister-in-law Norma Goldizen.
She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Warfordsburg. She was employed at Lions Manufacturing, the Post House in Breezewood and Delco until her retirement.
Frankie enjoyed traveling, being with family, rides in the country and her dog “Buddy”.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 9:30 – 11:00 A.M. at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Delmas Bard officiating.
Burial will be held at the Everett Cemetery.
