Evelyn "Ebbie" Allman

Evelyn (Ebbie) Allman, 92, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, PA.  She was born on July 08, 1932 in Everett, PA; a daughter of the late Chester Guy and Anna Mae (Cottle) Leach.  Ebbie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  On June 05, 1954, she was united in marriage to Earl Richard Allman.  He preceded her in death on June 28, 1980.

She is survived by a son, Todd Richard Allman married to Diane of Cranberry Twp., grandsons Benjamin and John, granddaughter Claire (Savacool), great granddaughter, Saylor, sister-in-law Joan Leach and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Shimer and brother Donald Leach. 

Mrs. Allman graduated from Everett Area High School Class of 1951.  She was employed as a waitress at the Midway Plaza Howard Johnsons on the PA Turnpike before devoting all her time towards her family.  She was a member of the Everett United Methodist Church all her life and enjoyed volunteering in many actives there.  Ebbie was also an active member of the Everett Senior Center.  

She enjoyed bird watching from her home, taking care of her house and family, and offering smiles and positive encouragements to others.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Concordia of Cranberry and Good Samaritan Hospice for the excellent care they provided Ebbie in her final years.

Family and Friends will be received at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Everett United Methodist Church, 221 E. Main Street, Everett, PA with Pastor Ron Doverspike officiating.

Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
