Ellis D. Klahre

Ellis D. Klahre, 91, of Rock Hill Church Road, Clearville, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022.  He was born on May 13, 1931 in Clearville, PA; a son of the late Emory M. and Ida M. (Ferguson) Klahre.  On July 1, 1950 in Flintstone, Maryland; he married Marjorie L. (Snyder) Klahre.  She preceded him in death on October 1, 2011.

He is survived by two sons Kenneth R. married to Sandra (Smith), Clearville, PA

Donald E. married to Terri (Shaw), Clearville, PA; grandchildren: William Klahre, Travis S. Klahre married to Elizabeth (Mickle), Alisha R. Klahre, Brianne married to Brent Brennan, and Laura B. married to Anthony Montoya; great grandchildren Ian Klahre, Betsy Brennan, Jayden Ryland, Isaac Klahre, Gabriel Montoya, Blake Brennan, Belle Brennan, Jonathan Montoya, Brooklyn Montoya, Carter Cook and Eli Montoya; siblings Ray C. Klahre and Joan M. Hedrick married to Floyd; sister-in-law Iva Jean married to John Price and Leota Mills.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Heidi Klahre and sister-in-law Norma Jean Klahre.

Mr. Klahre was a member of the Clear Ridge Fellowship Church, Everett.

He owned and operated Klahre’s Pulpwood Logs and Lumber Inc. along with his sons.

He enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel Music and tending to his cattle on the farm.

Friends and Family will be received on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Clear Ridge Fellowship Church, Clear Ridge Road, Everett, PA 15537 and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the Church.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Clear Ridge Fellowship Church with Pastor Todd Bowles officiating.
