Edith Keifman, 93, of Saxton, PA; passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at The Village of Morrison Cove in Martinsburg, PA. She was born on November 30, 1926 in Defiance, PA; a daughter of the late Alexander and Celia (Grace) Solomon. On February 10, 1946 in Defiance, PA, she was united in marriage to Lloyd T. “Pete” Keifman. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2008.
She is survived by her children Pamela married to Robert Schmidt of Macomb, Michigan; Deborah married to Louis Lesnoff of East Tawas, Michigan; Steven Keifman married to Phoebe (Killian) of Saxton, PA; Timothy Keifman married to JoEllen (Lazor) of Saxton, PA; sister Patricia Miller; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Along with her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Kimberly Stapleton; son Dennis Keifman and siblings Alberta, Emma, Joseph, James, Lucille and Gracey.
Edith owned and operated the Friendly Tavern in Saxton, PA for many years until her retirement.
Edith was of the Methodist Faith.
Private burial will be held at Langdondale Cemetery.
