Dustin James Whisel

Dustin James Whisel, 43, of Cumberland, MD; passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at home.  He was born on May 27, 1977 in Bedford, PA; a son of Deborah (Miller) Hallo married to George and Gregory Whisel married to Karen.

Along with his parents, he is survived by five step brothers, five nieces and nephews, eleven uncles and aunts and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Claudia Miller and James and Rebecca Whisel; and an Uncle Denny Miller.

Dustin was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1995.  He worked in the EMS field for twenty-five years.  Dustin was very techno savvy, he aided in the setting up of new 911 systems and enjoyed the field of emergency communications.

He enjoyed hiking, bicycling, rollerblading and working with electronics.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in honor of his life by the family at a later date.
