Dr. J. Thomas Davis

Dr. J. Thomas Davis, 93, of Everett, PA; passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  He was born on April 5, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA; a son of the late Lawrence R. Davis and Grace (Stillwagon) Davis.  On June 12, 1954 in the Everett United Methodist Church he was united in marriage to Annette D. (Dunkle) Davis.

Along with his wife he is survived by children Thomas B. Davis, Claysburg; Heather A. Davis, Everett and Holly D. Anderson, Everett; grandchildren Wendy J. Gattinella, Lela C. Clark, Vincent T. Anderson and Joseph E. Anderson; great grandchildren Vinny, Benny, Jacob, Henry, Audrey, Blakely, Juliana and Ella.   

He was preceded in death by siblings Jane Odell and Lawrence Davis.

Tom was a graduate of University of Pennsylvania earning his doctorate in Dentistry from Penn Dental.  He played college basketball for University of Penn.  He served in the United States Navy as a dentist.

Dr. Davis ran a successful dentistry practice for many years in the Philadelphia area.

He loved spending the summer months with his family in Ocean City, New Jersey.  He loved the beach and was an avid sports fan.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
