Dorothy Kagarise Obituary

Dorothy J. Kagarise, 81, of Mifflintown, PA; passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown. She was born in Bedford, PA on January 28, 1940 a daughter of the late William and Elsie (Hann) Keel. On May 19, 1962 she was united in marriage to Henry Paul Kagarise Jr. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1988.

She is survived by four children Stephen Kagarise married to Ginger (Lemley), Bedford; Diane Kagarise, Halifax; Brenda Kagarise, Everett; Duane Kagarise; sister Mary Claar, Bedford; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings Norman, her twin brother Donald, William Jr., Oliver and Orville; Pauline Keel, Rose Reeb, Annabelle Berkebile and Florence Keel.

She worked at the Post House in Breezewood for a number of years.

Dorothy was baptized in the Methodist Faith.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and great grandchildren and caring for dogs and birds.

A private memorial service will be held at the deceased request.
