Doris M. (Dicken) Northcraft

Doris M. Northcraft, 89, of Artemas, PA; passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at UPMC Cumberland, MD.  She was born on August 14, 1935 in Chaneysville, PA; a daughter of the late Wilbur and Vula (Ratcliff) Dicken.  In December of 1958 she was united in marriage to Dale D. Northcraft.  He preceded her in death on February 22, 2001.

She is survived by two sons Ronnie D. Northcraft married to Tammy (Hess) and Gary E. Northcraft married to Marie (Kile); grandchildren Chad Northcraft married to Tonya, Layce Northcraft and Lonnie Northcraft; great grandchildren Soriyah and Maddux; and a brother Tommy Dicken married to Debbie.

She was preceded in death by siblings Helen Trail, Joyce Miller, Martha Northcraft, and her twin brother Dwayne Dicken.

Doris was a member of Lebanon Christian Church.  She was also a member of the Chaneysville Senior Center and enjoyed canning, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker throughout her life.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Mowry officiating.

Burial will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Chaneysville.
