Donald J. Chiccarella

Donald J. Chiccarella, 75, of Chaneysville Road; passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  He was born on May 16, 1950 in Cumberland, MD; a son of the late Donald R. and Waneta (Johnson) Chiccarella.

He is survived by children Helena Franklin married to Robert, Martinsburg, WV; Eugene Massey, Bunker Hill, WV and Nicholas Chiccarella married to Cassandra, Hagerstown, MD; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister Debbie Dicken married to Tommy; nephew Shawn Dicken and his children Dakota, Preslea, Eli and Evan and an uncle Randy Johnson.

Donald was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1968.

He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1968-1970 during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the Everett American Legion, Everett V.F.W., Bedford American Legion, DAV Chapter, and lifetime member of the Chaneysville Volunteer Fire Company.  He enjoyed hunting, collecting knives and guns.  He loved watching westerns and caring for his animals.

There will be no services and burial will be held privately at a family cemetery plot.
