Dennis Mearkle Obituary

Dennis W. Mearkle, 65 of East Mattie Road, Breezewood, PA; passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on November 17, 1956 in Everett, PA; a son of Mabel (Bernhard) Mearkle of Everett and the late Dale Mearkle.

Along with his mother, he is survived by siblings William K. Mearkle married to Kimberly, Clearville, PA; Randy L. Mearkle, Breezewood, PA; Karen Colledge married to Joel, Clearville, PA and special companion and caregiver Judy Ling, Breezewood, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Dennis worked at Exxon Mobil in Breezewood for many years but was most recently employed at JLG in Bedford where he was a forklift operator. He enjoyed music, electronics and had a fascination for learning how things work. He enjoyed animals and cared for many strays that wandered his way.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
