Dennis R. Foor, 73, of Everett, PA; passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 2, 2026 at home. He was born on January 24, 1953 in Everett; a son of the late Donald H. and Doris L. Foor. On March 31, 1973 in Winchester, VA; he was united in marriage to LuAnn (Swindell) Foor.
Along with his wife of fifty-two years, he is survived by two children Kristen A. married to Tommy Byers, Princeton, MO and Devin R. Foor married to April, Clayton, NC; two grandchildren that he adored, Daxton A. Foor and Decklyn A. Foor.
He was a member of the Everett Church of the Brethren.
Dennis was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1970. He worked at the Gulf Station in Breezewood before starting his thirty-seven year career at Morral Brothers Inc. in Everett until his retirement in 2015. After retirement he loved driving school bus, he enjoyed being around the kids.
Mr. Foor served in the United States National Guards for six years.
He enjoyed fishing at the family farm pond with his wife and grandchildren when they were in town. He enjoyed hunting and watching the Weaver Boys race at the Bedford Speedway. When his children were growing up, he coached their little league softball and baseball teams.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of the funeral service.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Kenneth Hinish officiating.
