Deloris G. Welch

Deloris G. Welch, 90, of Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Bedford Post Acute.  She was born on April 5, 1935 in Breezewood, PA; a daughter of the late Jesse Herman and Cora (Millin) Welsh.

She is survived by a son Robert E. Welch married to Christine, El Paso, TX; three grandchildren Nicole Colledge married to Matthew of Breezewood; Rachelle Welch of Maine and Sarah Throckmartin married to Keisha of Florida; nine great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a siblings George Welsh and Norman Welsh.

Deloris worked as a waitress on third shift at Pete & Betty’s Dinner and later working at the Gateway Restaurant in Breezewood for many years until her retirement in 1993.

She was an Elvis enthusiast; she also enjoyed gardening, reading, watching westerns, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on May 30, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.

A Memorial Service will be held on May 30, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Benner officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Bedford County Memorial Park.
