Delores A. Pepple, 85, of Everett, PA; passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 13, 1936 in St. Clairsville, Bedford County; a daughter of the late Clarence E. and A. Lillian (Russell) Hammer Henderson. On October 6, 1958 in Winchester, VA; she was united in marriage to Donald P. Pepple. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2019.
She is survived by daughter Jennifer married to Dan Hillenbrand; two granddaughters Taylor Hillenbrand and Olivia Hillenbrand and her fiancé Brandon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by siblings Harold Henderson, Joyce Latta, Allen Henderson, half-sister Virginia Snyder, half-brother Ned E. “Jim” Hammer who was killed in action on March 30, 1945 in Plankstantd, Germany during World War II. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Delores was a graduate of Everett Southern Joint High School Class of 1955.
She worked as a telephone operator for United Telephone Company of Pennsylvania out of the Everett office, later working for Western Auto in Bedford for twelve years and retiring from Wal-Mart 1684 in December of 2016.
Mrs. Pepple attended Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.
Funeral service will be held at the Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor David Grimes officiating.
Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
