Deborah J. Strout

Deborah J. Strout, 63, passed away on March 1, 2023 in her home at 5516 Corteen Place, North Hollywood CA, 

She was born on August 28, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Zenas and VallaRhea Strout.  

She is survived by her brothers Matthew Strout and Kelly Strout.  Deborah also leaves behind numerous friendships and extended families who rewarded her as their daughter, sister, and auntie.

She was a graduate of New York University.

Deborah grew up in Brooklyn NY during the 1960s and 70's.  A few years after completing her Bachelor's degree in Language & Philosophy at NYU she relocated to California's bay area and later to Los Angeles.  

She worked at a variety of organizations specializing in data analysis and administration.  Deborah also had many fond memories and friendship's while working at Santa Clara University Admissions Office.

Deborah traveled widely including destinations in Europe, Japan, India, and South America.  Some highlights include hiking peaks of Mount Fuji and Machu Picchu.  She also enjoyed extensive visits in France and Italy.

Deborah will be laid to rest next to her parents in the family plot at Grandview Cemetery in Saxton PA on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Julie Rosensteel officiating.
