Deborah M (Price) Merritts

Deborah M. (Price) Merritts, 73, of Merriwinds Road, Clearville, PA; passed away on March 13, 2026 at home.  She was born on November 18, 1952 in Berkeley Springs, WV; a daughter of the late Kenneth P. Price and Norma L. (Sleek) Price.  In 1975 she was united in marriage to Jerry W. Merritts.  He preceded her in death on May 12, 2019.

She is survived by two children Chad A. Clark married to Shonda and Jamie married to Mike Lankey; grandchildren Shayna Clark, Dylan Clark married to Sadie, Hunter Lankey married to Brooke N., Brooke Lankey married to Zach Kochman; great grandchildren Serenity, Dolson, Connor, and Josie; siblings Randy Price married to Nancy (Blackstone), Kenneth Price married to Rhea, Sheryl Price, Dennis Price, Kathy Price and significant other Jeff Whetstone, Brian Price and Todd Price married to Yvonne.

Deborah was a graduate of Everett Area High School.  She was briefly employed at Walmart as a stocker and was mainly a stay at home mom.  She enjoyed flower gardening, watching game shows, spending time with family and friends and spending time with her friend Cindy Rice.

She was preceded in death by granddaughter Shayla Clark and nephew Brett Price.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and on Friday at 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Ron Hott officiating.

Burial will be held at Rock Hill Cemetery.
