Deanna Jean (Childers) Freeman, 75, of Everett, PA, went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2022, at Conemaugh Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
She was born on October 16, 1946, in Wood, PA, a daughter to the late Robert E. and Beulah J. Childers.
She is survived by a son, Michael Freeman, husband of Jeanette of Everett; two granddaughters, Jenna and Megan Freeman; sister, Pam Crooks, wife of Larry of Defiance; ex-husband, Robert G. Freeman of Saxton; special niece, Michelle Leader, wife of Mike of Hopewell, and great niece Jayanna Crooks, daughter of Larry and Brandy Crooks of Hopewell; along with several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Sharon Harding and Ethel Kline; brother,
Barry Lemin; son, Robert E. Freeman; daughter, Tina L. Freeman; and nephew, Charles Crooks.
Deanna was a graduate of Northern Bedford High School, class of 1965. She was employed by Scotland
School for Veterans Children in Scotland.
She was of the Methodist faith and always enjoyed growing up in the church. She enjoyed sewing,
needlepoint, reading, fishing, spending time at the river with her family and grandchildren, and eating
crabs.
