David Michael Forquer, 68, of Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at home. He was born on July 11, 1956 in Washington DC; He is the son of the late Bernard and Evelyn (Hayden) Forquer. On May 28, 1977 he married Ruth (Hall) Forquer.
Along with his wife, he is survived by four children, Adam Forquer married to Naomi, Everett, PA; Alainna Fansler married to Joshua, State College, PA; Amanda Wilkerson married to Kris, Texas; and Andrea Tucker married to Kevin, Texas; fourteen grandchildren Adam Forquer, Jr., Roman, Liam, Vivienne, Juliette, Titus, Dean, Kolby, Genevieve, Evelyn, Izabella, Abigail, Hannah, and Emma; and four step-grandchildren Braiden and Trenton Weyant and Chase and Jason Tucker; brother Ronald Forquer married to Mamie; special niece Cindy and special nephew Ronald.
David was a member of Breezewood Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, family vacations and traveling to visit family.
Mr. Forquer served in the United States Air National Guard and then in the United States Army from the Vietnam Era through Desert Storm, upon returning home he worked for the United States Postal Service and was an over the road truck driver owner/operator until his retirement. David was also a volunteer for Samaritan’s Purse.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. at the Breezewood Lighthouse Assembly of God Church with Pastors Jonathan and Tracy Wyns officiating. Everett Area Honor Guard will conduct military honors.
Friends may call at the Breezewood Lighthouse Assembly of God Church on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 3-4 P.M. until the hour of service.
If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of David to Samaritan’s Purse or Breezewood Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.
