David M. Creps, Jr.

David M. Creps, Jr., 88, of Industrial Avenue, Bedford, PA; passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Pennknoll Village, Everett. 
He was born on April 16, 1931 in Bedford, PA a son of the late David M. Creps, Sr. and  S. Virginia (Dibert) Creps. 
On August 5, 1961 in Winchester, VA; he was united in marriage to Shirley A. (Miller) Creps.

Along with his wife of fifty-eight years he is survived by children Lisa D. married to George Ritchey, Manns Choice, PA; Brenda L. married to Vince Eberle, Bedford, PA; Tracey S. Earley, Bedford, PA; and also the father to Connie Lou married to Junior Rush and
family, David Wayne Creps married to Pam and family; and Kathy Leonard married to David who was like a daughter to him and a very special part of the family; ten grandchildren Wendy Hoover, Alicia Frazier married to Merle, Jennifer Steele married to Adam, Kara Buckwalter married to Dustin, Nicole Hershman
married to Chad, Dustin Hershman, Travis Hershman, Tyler Earley married to Torry, Nathan Earley married to Abby and Austin Earley; thirteen great grandchildren Marissa, Isaac, Alivia, Ashton, Layla, Luke, Dylan, Trent, Caden, Noah, Hannah, Carter and Aubree;
siblings Delores Buterbaugh, Everett, Rudy Creps married to Joretta, Everett, Miriam Howsare married to Tom, Bedford, Eileen Davis married to Charlie, Bedford and Linda Hartsock, Centerville, PA. and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a great grandson Andrew Frazier and a brother-in-law Larry Buterbaugh.
Mr. Creps was a member of the Bethel Church of the Brethren.
David worked for Continental Garage in Bedford for several years, drove truck for Glen Cussins and Dallas Baughman. He later drove truck for Tri-County Milk Haulers until his retirement.

He enjoyed being outdoors, painting, restoring antique furniture, working in the flower beds and in his lawn. 
He also enjoyed going to Bowsers Diner and Hillcrest for coffee.
He will be sadly missed and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Family and Friends may call at Milligans Cove Christian Church, 142 Milligans Cove Road, Buffalo Mills, PA 15534 on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of funeral service at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Russell Hoffman officiating.
Burial will be held privately at Bethel Cemetery, Everett
