Daniel William Rush, Sr.

Daniel William Rush, Sr., 73, of West Street, Everett, PA; passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at home.  He was born on November 26, 1949 in Everett, PA; a son of the late Harold K. Rush, Sr. and Rose Marie Rush.  On May 25, 1968 in Winchester, VA; he was united in marriage to Judy C. (Rhodes) Rush.

Along with his wife, he is survived by children Daniel Rush, Jr. married to Bobbi, Everett, PA; Linda married to James Adams, Chaneysville, PA; Willy Rush married to Cathy Jo, Everett, PA; Joseph Rush married to Dean Johnson, Cumberland, MD; five grandchildren Gracie, Matthew, William, Dana and Amber; three great grandchildren Carson, Addison and Harper; a brother Harold K. Rush, Jr. married to Connie and a sister Bonnie Sue Tew, and a sister-in-law Patricia Rush.

He was preceded in death by siblings Veryl C. Rush and the late Regina, Donald R. Rush, Linda Bloom and the late Robert, Sylvia Maust, and brothers-in-law Stephen Maust and Roger Tew.

Daniel attended Cherry Lane Church of the Brethren.

He worked as a mechanic throughout his career.

He enjoyed watching television, sitting on the porch and attending family get-togethers.
