Daniel Zane Beck

Daniel “Zane” Beck, 83, of Bedford, PA; passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.  He was born on July 6, 1941 in Everett, PA; a son of the late Kenneth V. and Ira Faye (Price) Beck.  On February 22, 1964 in Everett, PA; he married Bonnie A. (Barton) Beck.

Along with his wife of sixty years, he is survived by three daughters Alicia Ann Corle married to David, Owings, MD; Danielle Lee Hicks married to Nathan, Howard, PA; and Tiffany Dawn Steele married to Travis, Bedford, PA; grandson Devin Zane Steele, Bedford; and a sister Velma Mallow, Everett.

He was preceded in death by a sister Mavis Riley and brother Kevan Beck.

Zane was a member of the First Christian Church, Everett.  He served in the United States Army serving in Korea after the war.

Mr. Beck was a truck driver working for various companies over the years and later retiring from Bedford County Oil.

Zane was a member of the Everett American Legion Post No. 08, Everett V.F.W. Post 2088, Bedford Moose Lodge No. 480, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Post No. 1299.

He enjoyed being with family and friends, listening to country music and vacations down south.

Burial will be held privately at Frame Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Zane to a charity of your choice.
