Dallas D. Foor

Dallas D. Foor, 90, of West Asa Street, Everett, PA; passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  He was born on September 10, 1929 in Breezewood, PA; a son of the late Custer Henry and Gaynell (Smith) Foor.  He was united in marriage to Doris (Steel) Foor.  She preceded him in death on December 23, 2013.

He is survived by children Theresa L. Miller married to Clyde, Bedford, PA; Kenneth D. Foor married to Linette, New Enterprise, PA; Kelly D. Foor, Bedford, PA; Timothy L. Foor married to Lynda, Burlington, NJ; step-sons Rick Steel married to Bonnie and Blaine Steel; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and one step great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Laura Marie Foor and siblings Orma Foor, Vera Marshall, Vaughn Foor, Illa Carnaggio and an infant brother.

Dallas attended Rays Cove Christian Church, where he enjoyed being with his church family.

He was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1949.  Dallas went onto serve in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and Vietnam War.  He retired from the Air Force in 1974 after twenty-four years of service to his country.

Dallas loved God and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 4-8 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rays Cove Christian Church with Pastor Richard Bair officiating.

Burial will be held at Rays Cove Christian Church Cemetery with full military honors by the Everett Area Honor Guard.
