D. Arline (Jones) Clark

D. Arline Clark, 94, of Martinsburg formerly of Mifflin Street, Saxton, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Homewood in Martinsburg.  She was born on December 14, 1924 in Saxton, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Arlie T. and Golda R. (Clark) Jones.  On October 29, 1942 in Hagerstown, Maryland; she was united in marriage to Edgar Lee Clark.  He preceded her in death on June 4, 2015. 

She is survived by two daughters Lee Anne Kendall, McConnellsburg, PA and Susan Gordon married to Mark, North Potomac, MD; three grandchildren Keith Reed, Shippensburg, Kevin Reed married to Jenn, Lancaster, PA and Alison Burnett married to Charles, Chambersburg; two great grandchildren Olivia and Morgan Reed of Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a infant daughter and a sister Mary Louise.

Arline was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.  Over the years she authored three books of her family’s genealogy.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Trinity United Church of Christ, Saxton with Pastor Jill Clawson officiating.

Friends may call at Trinity United Church of Christ on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery.
