Cynthia G. (Ritchey) Wright

Cynthia G. Wright, 75, of Hopewell, PA; passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Homewood in Martinsburg.  She was born on February 24, 1948 in Riddlesburg, PA; a daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Reed) Ritchey.  On June 8, 1991 in Riddlesburg Church of the Brethren she married Lester Dale “Jack” Wright.  He preceded her in death on August 9, 2013.

She is survived by siblings Gary Ritchey, Pam Borski married to Chester and Janice Duvall; nieces Joie Bollman, Jaylene Seace and Brittnee Mowery.

She was preceded in death by a sister Bonnie Long.

Cindy was a homemaker; she enjoyed caring for her home and time with her husband.

She loved her cat “Daisy” and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Chapel with Jeffrey Seace officiating.

Family and Friends may call at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton, on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be held at Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run.

Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Wright to the Bedford County Humane Society, 182 Bohn Road, Bedford, PA 15522.
