Cindy Putt Obituary

Cindy Putt, 67, of Saxton, passed away peacefully at home on November 27, 2020, following an extended illness. She was born December 18, 1952, in Roaring Spring Pa, to the late Dorothy (Figard) and Samuel Barton. She married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Steven Leroy Putt, who survives, on July 6, 1971 in Saxton, Pa.

Cindy was a dedicated mother, first and foremost, embracing every moment with her family. Most of all, she loved her family and instilled in her daughter and son strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Her kind, caring and compassionate nature naturally made those she met fall in love with her.

Cindy was a 1970 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School and worked for a period of time at Quality Manufacturing and Seton Company. She spent her life as a loving and devoted wife, mother, home maker, and fur-momma to her dogs and cats over the years. She enjoyed every holiday and loved to decorate, cook and entertain for the holidays. She also enjoyed frequenting antique stores, auctions, flea markets and yard sales.

In addition to her husband, Steven Leroy Putt, Cindy is also survived by her daughter, Lorie Lynn (Putt) Smith of Roaring Spring Pa; son, Steven Samuel Putt of Montoursville Pa; sister and husband, Brenda and David Meck; sister, Sandra “Sandi” Kruise; sister, Lisa Madden; Mother-in-Law, Patricia (Foor) Putt; Sister-in-Law and husband, Cindy and Tom Neville; Brother-in-Law and wife, Michael and Corrine Putt; Sister-in-Law, Annette (Putt) Lynn; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a very special great-nephew, Derek Burr, who she loved as a grandson, never having grandchildren of her own.

She was a member of the Round Knob Church of God before moving to Saxton and was saved at the Beavertown Bible Church, accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
