Chester J. Jones

Chester J. Jones, 89, of Saxton, PA; passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at his daughter’s home.  He was born on August 1, 1935 in Dudley, PA; a son of the late Chester B. and Elda (McKnight) Jones.  He was united in marriage to Inez L. (Clark) Jones on November 20, 1959.  She preceded him in death on August 11, 2021.

He is survived by children Karen Harclerode married to Steve, Northeast, MD; Barb Miller married to Kevin, Saxton, PA and Jill Nicoletti married to Tony, Harmony, PA and granddaughter Brooke Hughes married to Shawn, Saxton, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Polly, sister Betsy, and brother Donald. 

Chester served in the United States Navy from 1954-1958.  He was a missile inspector at Letterkenny Army Depot for many years until his retirement.

He and his wife enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.

At the request of the family there will be no services.
