We love, honor, and cherish the memory of our beloved wife, sister, and friend, Carol Burnett, 71, of Hopewell, Pennsylvania who touched the lives of so many people. At the time of her passing on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Carol was surrounded by the family she cherished: her loving wife Tammy Miller, her sisters Brenda and Tina, her brother Scott, her brother in law Basil Pittman, her niece Lauren and husband Mark, her nephew Brandon and husband Brandon, and Tammy's sisters, Cindy, Deb, Cathy, and Vickie. Carol was loved by so many people and is now resting peacefully with the Lord.
Carol was born on Monday, June 7, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Donald Franklin Burnett and Margaret (Peggy) Roseann Mills, Burnett, McAllister.
When she lived in Hancock, Maryland, she attended the Hancock Middle Senior High School and the Hancock United Methodist Church. She worked several places over the years and last worked and retired from REI Distribution Center, Bedford, Pennsylvania. She lived in Hopewell, Pennsylvania for 18 years with her loving wife Tammy Miller.
Carol will always be remembered as a devoted wife, sister, and friend. She loved to cook, always making delicious food for anyone who visited. She dearly loved her cats and also took care of stray cats who came to the house. Every morning, she also fed the deer who came to the edge of her property. She loved to plant flowers in her shrubs and everywhere outside of her home. She also loved to watch sports on the weekends with Tammy and to put together puzzles. Carol was the leader and protector of the family, always leading and protecting with unconditional love and devotion.
Carol is survived by her wife of 18 years, Tammy Miller, a huge family and in laws of her wife Tammy, sister Brenda (Burnett) Pittman and family, sister Tina (McAllister) Younker and family, brother Donald Burnett and family, and brother Scott McAllister and family along with 5 nieces, Elizabeth (Pittman) Huff, Alison (Pittman) Van Scyoc, Liana (Pittman) Piper, Lauren (Younker) Spencer, Ashley (Burnett) Wilhelm, 5 nephews, Justin Pittman, Philip Pittman, Adam Pittman, Brandon Younker, and Matthew McAllister, 9 great nephews, Ayden Pittman, Kingston Pittman, David Huff, Lincoln Huff, Lennox Van Scyoc, Landry Van Scyoc, Trayton Younker, De' Marcio Scott, Noah Wilhelm, and 2 great nieces, Ryle Pittman and Arianna Scott.
