Bruce A. Brooks, Jr.

Bruce A. Brooks, Jr., 67, of Cumberland, MD; passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 08, 2025.  He was born on March 23, 1958, the son of the late Bruce A. Sr., and Barbara M. (Green) Brooks.  On July 20, 2007 he was united in marriage to Robin (Johnson) Brooks. 

Bruce is survived by his wife and children John Brooks (Corinna) of Battletown, KY; Chris Brooks (Christian) of Short Gap, W.V.; Chastity (Brad) Buckley; Nicole Pringle (Marl Beegle); and Christopher Pringle (fiancé Debra); grandchildren Jakob, Alec, Aidyn, Devon, Seth, Blake, Quenton, Cody, Blu, Hannah (fiancé Ethan), Riley, Ella, Bailey, Wyson, Cameron and Carsen; siblings Ben Brooks, Brian Brooks, Betsy, Bonnie, Belinda, Brenda.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Conner and a sister, Barbie.

Bruce was a graduate of Twin Lakes High School, West Palm Beach, FL, Class of 1975.    He was employed by Dominion Power as an electrician until his retirement in 2018.  He loved going fishing at Chincoteague and always planned to retire to the south but not too far south.  Most of all he loved being surrounded by family.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
