Brian R. Swartzwelder

Brian R. Swartzwelder, 63 of Breezewood, PA; passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at home.  He was born on September 04, 1961 in Everett, PA; a son of Robert E. and Linda J. (Weicht) Swartzwelder of Breezewood.

Along with his parents, he is survived by a sister Lori A. Swartzwelder of Breezewood; a nephew Garrett Justice, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Brian was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1980.  Over the years he worked at GWS, R.L. Insulation and MEC.

Brian enjoyed hunting, watching dirt track and Nascar Racing, college football and basketball were his favorites, plus other sports.  He was a member of the NRA.

Brian loved to make people laugh.  His favorite saying was, “keep a smile on your face and a song in your heart”.

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. till 3:00 PM.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 3:00 PM. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Wyns officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Breezewood.
