Beverly DeBaugh Ridenour, 91, of Victoria House, Everett, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
She was born August 23, 1934, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, the daughter of the late John Folk DeBaugh and Elizabeth Brown DeBaugh.
On June 12, 1957, she married Robert (Bob) Ridenour, at her grandparents’ home “Allendale” in Martinsburg, WV. They were married 47 years at the time of Bob’s passing on October 12, 2004.
Beverly is survived by sons: Robert Ridenour III and partner Denise, Valdosta, GA; Randall Ridenour and wife Elaine, Frostburg, MD; daughter Julie Lineberger and husband Todd, Wilmington, NC; grandchildren: Nathan Rudat and wife Cherie, Jordan Rudat and wife Samantha, Alyssa Chapman and husband Joshua, Sabrina Ridenour, Rachel Ridenour, Jack Lineberger, Dan Lineberger and wife Emily; 3 great-grandchildren; brother Stuart DeBaugh and wife Sally, Martinsburg, WV; and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Jess Ridenour Jr., and brothers James and John Louis DeBaugh, both of Martinsburg, WV.
Beverly was a 1951 graduate of Martinsburg High School, and Madison College with a degree in Home Economics Education in 1955. She taught Home Economics at South Hagerstown High School, Hagerstown, MD, until starting her family and later taught school in Allegany County, MD, on a substitute basis.
Beverly was Treasurer for the Bloody Run Historical Society for 27 years and supported her husband Bob in the restoration of the Everett Train Station. She was a member of the Bedford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for 35 years and was President of the Auxiliary for 13 years. She managed both the snack and gift shops located in the hospital and helped organize fund raisers and annual book sales that benefited the hospital and residents of Bedford County.
Beverly was a former member of the Frostburg United Methodist Church in Frostburg, MD, and was currently a member of the Everett United Methodist Church in Everett.
She was a proud West Virginia University fan and took every opportunity to show her pride with WVU wreaths, flags, and apparel. She enjoyed baking, reading, travel, and spending time with family and friends whom she cherished.
The family would like to thank the staff of Victoria House at Homewood Living Spring House for their loving care and kindness shown to her. They would also like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate support throughout her journey.
Family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 30, 2026, at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Guyer officiating. Burial will be in the Everett Cemetery.
