On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, Beulah K. (Smith) Peck, of Breezewood, went home to be with Our Lord at the age of 82. She was born on April 26, 1937, at the family home in Emmaville; the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Spade) Smith.  On October 12, 1956, in McConnellsburg, PA, she married Veryl W. Peck.

Along with her husband, she is survived by daughters: Patty Divelbliss married to Rodney, of Crystal Spring and Donna Bryant of Breezewood; grandchildren: Jamie married to David Fischer, Jason Bryant and Alexis Bryant; her great-grandchildren, who she was affectionately known by them as “Grandma Logs”: Blaine, Hope, Kolt, Lilly, Abbi, Rylan and Brodey; brothers: Larry Smith married to Doris, Warfordsburg, PA, Carl Smith married to Carol, Crystal Spring and John Smith, Warfordsburg; and “Adopted” Grandchildren: Danette Peck Haney and family, Derek Peck and family, Beth Bryant and Gena Miller.

In addition to her parents Beulah was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Ruth Smith.

Beulah was a graduate of Southern Fulton High School Class of 1955.  She was employed at Lion Manufacturing in Everett, London Fog Factory in Hancock, MD, and she was housekeeping manager of the Best Western Motel in Breezewood until her retirement.

She enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, helping her husband maintain the grounds at Crystal Spring Camp Meeting and attending weekly auctions at Morrison’s Cove Produce Auction. Beulah was a member of the Everett United Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Crystal Spring Campground and  a member of Breezewood Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary where together, she and Veryl spent decades perfecting their famous coleslaw.

A very special thank you to Grane Hospice whose angels became part of our family.  We will never forget the love, kindness and support shown to Mom and our family from Tammy, Paige, Patty, Christine, Crystal, Kerry, Courtney and Jenny, and a very special thank you to Chaplain Ruth.  Also, a special thanks to Alicia, her devoted caregiver.
