Betty Lou (Foor) Clingerman

Betty Lou Clingerman, 90, of Warrior Ridge Street, Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at her home.  She was born on March 18, 1930 in Maryland; a daughter of the late William H. and Freda E. (Baughman) Foor.  She was united in marriage on September 4, 1948 in Winchester, VA; to Robert K. Clingerman.  He preceded her in death on May 30, 2001. 

She is survived by two daughters Deborah J. married to Darrel L. Beegle and Pamela A. married to Howard Hinish; grandchildren Dawn M. Smith, Denna L. Beegle, Jennifer L. Witkamp married to Niels and Danielle L. Murphy married to Luke; five great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren and sisters Sylvia A. Hixon married to John, Cumberland, MD and Renee M. married to Glenn “Otie” Pepple, Clearville. 

She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Ashley Howsare. 

Betty Lou was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Everett. 

She enjoyed country line dancing, skating, and going to country music outings. 

Betty Lou previously worked at G.C. Murphy, volunteered at Moon Glo II Skating Rink and worked the Mail Room at the Bedford Gazette for over twenty years. 

Private Graveside Service will be held at St. Thomas Cemetery, Bedford with Father Richard Tomkosky celebrant.
